Lean cycle carb cycling meal plan

I’m considering competing in a figure competition in the spring. I’ve talked briefly w/a coach by the name of Kimberly Doehnart & she told me I need to put on some weight/muscle (Im 5’0″ 108lbs) and I’m just trying to figure out if carb cycling is something I should consider or find a plan thats more protein driven. Im currently eating about 1500 calories & trying to get in140g of protein, 105g carbs, & 47g of fat. Lifting everyday and trying to figure what cardio I should be doing and does cardio fall on high or low carb days?

Some quick questions while I wait though =)

I would follow the two pre-workout meals protocol and eat my first meal at 12 PM, then 15 PM and post-workout around 19:00 PM.

On rest days I might do some low-mid intense cardio for 60min around 6:30 AM. Would you recommend taking 10g BCAA just before here also?

Do you see any downside if I would take VPX Meltdown every morning during a phase for maximum fat loss?

Hi Mia: No, the meals are not complex! There are lots of awesome yummy, healthy, and quick recipes in both books (“Choose to Lose” and “Choose More, Lose More for Life”), and you might be able to find them in your library. I just randomly came across this article and just wanted to say you are right on. I to am an online coach and everything you hit on even in your comments is right on. It can be hard to find quality content online and quality writers and just to say you knocked it out of the park on this one. I have been using carb cycling for about 5 years now and I wouldn’t say its the only thing that works but I would say that for a majority of my clients it’s easily up there as the best teqnique that works well for men and women.
